The Russian incarnation of folk-punk is much different than the American styles, so even though these girls kick ass, they may not be the type of folk-punk you are used to. Their sound is similar to their former band, Бабслэй, but Ива Нова (Iva Nova) is more produced and has a more serious sound. Again, this album may be pretty different than what you're used to, but it's fairly fantastic!
